The blade is ordnance marked and the guard is stamped with Royal Horse Artillery markings. No scabbard. Blade very good with uncleaned patina but no pitting. Slight pitting to the guard and some damage to the leather grips. An uncleaned sleeper. This type of sword was also used in the US Civil War.      Item Code SW006, Price SOLD (GBP) A George V naval midshipmans dirk with etched blade and original scabbard. Some pitting to the blade but most of the etching very good and the blade has lots of the original polish. Leather very good on scabbard.
