A good quality very small size shot flask with only a 1lb bag. Made by Sykes of Sheffield and stamped Sykes Extra on the lever and leather bag. Measures 6 1/2" overall. Excellent condition with a good leather bag but the stitching is broken for a short part on one side which is only noticible if you squeeze the bag. A rare flask in this small size. |

A heavy quality extra thick copper bodied powder flask with flash proof top. Made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield and stamped James Dixon & Sons Sheffield on the top. Measures 8" overall. Excellent condition with loads of lacquer remaining. Spring is broken. There is a minor push on one side of the copper body that could probably be removed without trace. |

A rare pistol powder flask with an overall pineapple type pattern. This is a Hawksley pattern and it is the first time I have seen this pattern in a small flask. Measures 4 7/8" overall. Excellent condition with loads of lacquer remaining. There is a slight push on the body on one side which you can see in the pgotos. Obviously has been in a museum as it still retains the original white catalofue number FA 52. |

A very rare19th Century powder flask by James Dixon & Sons Sheffield with a flat bottom so that it will stand up on a flat surface. I have never seen an English shotgun size flask with a flat bottom before. The flask is definitely all original and the body shape is as per the factory manufacture. I am not sure whether this was some sort of prototype or just a very limited production. Measures 7 3/4" overall. Very good condition. A flask for the collector who has everything (or thought he did). |

A rare 18th Century powder magazine made of thick stiffened hard leather with a removable top which screws off. Inside this top is a screw out double ended nozzle with different sizes of spout at each end. There would originally have been a hasp and staple to lock the top but this is now missing. Height 12" overall. Good condition. All the stitching is good and although the leather is surface crazed it is solid and very rigid. |

Two early 19th Century powder horns which are probably for the Baker rifle . They closely resemble the horn issued to the Percy Tenantry Volunteers at Alnwick Castle but do not bear the Percy crown and crescent or any other markings. The brass peg is missing from the top of the horn in the top of the photos and the peg on the other horn is loose. There is a gouge in the top of the two horns. Otherwise good condition. |
