A superb quality mahogany double gun case for a pair of percussion shotguns by Deane Adams & Deane London (of Adams revolver fame). All lined in leather which has been beautifully tooled around the label. Measures internally 30" x 8 1/4" but partitioned for 28" barrels. All partitions and compartment lids are present. Carrying handles on top and one end. Brass escutcheon with ring handle all nicely cast and chiselled. Excellent condition and all completely original. Could do with a polish. Rare to find this level of completeness with all the partition lids in a complex case. Even if you don't have a pair of guns this would make a beautiful storage box for your gun accessories.

Lock has been forced with some minor damage and loss of the top part of the lock. A rare opportunity to acquire an original Forsyth case.

A very unusual mahogany gun case for a muzzle loading double barrelled shotgun with up to 31" barrels. There is a lift out rectangular tray which has two screws marked L and R . I am not sure whether this was for the gun locks? Good condition and complete with two keys.

An absolutely superb leather lined oak gun case for a Joseph Harkom Edinburgh double barreled percussion shotgun. Blocked for barrels of 29" but could accommodate barrels up to 30" . All completely original and in really great condition. Oak is a lovely golden colour and the lining is unstained. Complete with the key.

A superb leather lined oak gun case for a John Dickson Edinburgh double barreled percussion shotgun serial no. 2028. It still retains the spare lock screw which is numbered to the gun. The case was obviously owned by the famous gun collector W. Keith Neal in 1969 as he wrote to Dicksons to find out more details of the missing gun - see the photo of the letter. Really great condition. Complete with the lock screw and original letter from Dicksons. The case could accommodate 30" barrels (it was blocked for 28" barrels for the original gun).

A rare oak case for a single barreled percussion rifle by Alexander Henry of Edinburgh. The case would accommodate a barrel of up to 33". One lock is missing and the internal partitions are loose but if you need this for an Alex. Henry rifle it is well worth carrying out a little restoration. It has the original loading instructions in the lid and is in sleepy and completely untouched condition.
