Item Code AC0176, Price £175 (GBP) A very rare National Rifle Association life members pass made from ivory and beautifully hand engraved with the NRA emblems on one side and the members name H. E. Brett and the date 1909 on the reverse. The pass is complete with three shooting medals won by Herbert Edwin Brett in 1908 and 1913. Excellent condition. Brett was a colour sergeant instuctor of musketry at the National Rifle Association School of Musketry in Hythe. He was killed in the 1st World War in 1915. There is quite a bit of information about him on the internet and this lot is definitely worth further research.

Item Code AC0167, Price £35 (GBP) A rare original accessory for a Whitworth .451 target rifle. This tool was used to eject the bullet from the block mould and is often missing from the mould set. There is an age crack gown one side of the ebony handle, otherwise good condition.
Item Code AC0159, Price £25 (GBP) each A selection of muzzle and sight protectors. The top one fits a martini henry and the lower two are I think for Lee enfield or heavy barrel .22. Good condition.

Item Code AC0127, Price £10 (GBP) An original small trade card for Frederick Hadfield sporting gun and rifle manufacturer. A little tatty condition. Dates between 1908 - 1934.
Item Code AC00072, Price £40 (GBP) Original nipples for English percussion revolvers - I think these will fit either an Adams or Tranter revolver. A good accessory for the pistol case as revolvers were usually cased with 5 spare nipples. The price is for a set of 5 nipples. Good condition and guaranteed to be original.

Item Code AC0100, Price £30 (GBP) A rare brass sight protector for a double barrelled rifle. This would be suitable for barrels which externally measure about .74". Very good condition with some minor denting.
Item Code AC0099, Price £15.00 (GBP) A brass sight protector for a single barrelled rifle. The internal diameter of the part that fits over the muzzle is .628" and it is probably intended for a rook rifle.
Item Code AC0015, Price £2 (GBP) each flint. Original early 19th Century flints for Brown Bess or similar muskets. Recovered from a shipwreck and some have traces of marine deposits on them. Excellent and usuable condition. I also have some of a smaller size for large pistol or carbine.
Item Code AC0173, Price SOLD (GBP) each Two good quality 12B chamber brushes. One is by G & J.W. Hawksley and is nickel and black horn. The other is lacquered brass with a horn handle by William Bartram. Both are in good condition.
Item Code AC0175, Price SOLD (GBP) A double ended shot charger marked Sykes Patent on one lid and 1 3/4oz on the other. .The spring is not operating on one lid - the other lid springs open and shut perfectly. Otherwise good condition.

Item Code AC0172, Price SOLD (GBP) A paper trade label for Williams & Powell. Measures 6 1/4" x 4 1/4". Good condition. May have had the edges slightly clipped at some time in the past.
Item Code AC0169, Price SOLD (GBP) A brass double ended shot charger by James Dixon & Sons Sheffield used to carry two loads of lead shot for reloading a percussion shotgun in the field. Stamped with the shot charge 1 1/2 oz. Good condition.

Item Code AC0162, Price SOLD (GBP) A large original 19th Century photograph notated Wimbledon 1886 showing the Scottish shooting team. In the centre is a list of the names of the gentlemen marked The Clachan under a shot target. There is also a small prize bucket or barrel under the sign. The actual photo measures 11 1/2" x 9 1/4" and is still in it's original frame. The photographer is shown as W & A. H. Fry of Brighton. A great piece of early shooting history and memorabilia. Good condition.
Item Code AC0141, Price SOLD (GBP) A selection of 19th Century tools for attachment to the end of a cleaning rod for muzzle loading guns. Good condition.
Item Code AC0152, Price SOLD (GBP) A rare combination tool for the Enfield percussion rifle. This example is for cavalry use (denoted by the two male screw off jags and worms) and is a sergeants pattern with the mainspring clamp. Excellent condition.
Item Code AC0147, Price SOLD (GBP) A very rare Walker Patent powder magazine patented in 1810 by James Walker. The magazine is made from copper and still retains one of the original tinplate internal powder containers. Measures 8 inches high and 8 1/2 inches diameter. A few dents but generally good condition and a rare item.
Item Code AC0163, Price SOLD (GBP) A high quality vintage nickel silver and bristle brush for a 12B shotgun. Fine knurling on the mount. This is the type which would be cased with a best London gun. Very good condition.

Item Code AC0130, Price SOLD (GBP) A nickel silver ventometer for making small alterations to the back sight of a rifle. Made by W.J. Jeffery & Co. London and were used with the Martin Henry and Lee Metford and Lee Enfield. Very good uncleaned condition.
