Description
Item Code AC0176, Price £175 (GBP)
A very rare National Rifle Association life members pass made from ivory and beautifully hand engraved with the NRA emblems on one side and the members name H. E. Brett and the date 1909 on the reverse. The pass is complete with three shooting medals won by Herbert Edwin Brett in 1908 and 1913. Excellent condition. Brett was a colour sergeant instuctor of musketry at the National Rifle Association School of Musketry in Hythe. He was killed in the 1st World War in 1915. There is quite a bit of information about him on the internet and this lot is definitely worth further research.
